In early 2004, Grupo Aventura performs for the first time in Los Angeles, CA at the Hollywood Palladium. Jessica Ortiz our president at this time was so excited that she created her own shirt without knowing the attention that those shirts would cost to other fans. Many fans ask Jessie if she was part of Aventura’s Stuff. At that moment Jessie who is known by easily making friends, thought that it will be a good Idea to start a Fan Club since Bachata at that time was not very well known. These four guys Antony Santos, Henry Santos, Lenny Santos and Mike Santos sang to their fans from their hearts. At that time Jessie’s dream was to have the chance to meet the guys and thank them for the wonderful music they had brought to her. In November of the same year 2004 Aventura came back to Los Angeles performing in Sport Arena in Downtown L.A. Jessie attended once again and as she waited around backstage her dream became reality.... She finally met Anthony and Mikey after having this opportunity she went home really decided to make a fan club and give those fans a chance to meet these guys in person. She wanted to give fans the same experience she felt meeting her favorite music group.

Placing a post up online, forum after forum, website after website, she was lucky enough to receive open responses from a couple of fans in which now in 2007 are part of her friends. Not sure of how to start the fan club she just did was she was best at: making friends over the phone. After months of talking to these fans, she held the first meeting on January 15, 2005 at her house.

Jessie was kind enough to pick one of these girls up and take her to the first club meeting. It was excited in more ways than words can express. So many plans, so many events, but one thing we all agreed on were to have one event to meet our members and to have fun...

January 21st, at a local club called Los Globos in Los Angeles, we all met the girl behind this club, Jessica Ortiz. Making our own shirts with the logo of Aventura, we danced the night away and met new friends.

Our fan club now had members and a name behind it: Aventuras Project in Cali Fan club! With the support of our members, we passed out flyers at the 1^st Reggaeton Invasion at the Universal Amphitheatre and we were able to get a lot of new members.

Time pass by and we were able to meet the rest of the members, take pictures, etc we been having a good time by Making new friends and enjoying the music we love.  and at the same time letting people know who are the “Kings of Bachata”.

Our club has been criticized by haters, people who envy our hard work, we been through ruft times were we had to let of Fan Club in the low, But now between the support of our devoted members and the hard work that Jessie and Jenny have contributed, we have turned back and are here to stay. We started out with only 25 members and now we are proud to say that thanks to many people our fan Club is growing. We have been lucky enough to have supporters from Puerto Rico, New York, Florida and even Spain and Italy. We are continuing to grow little by little, and we won't stop until California knows of Aventura 100% and of the wonderful sound that bachata brings.
